On the occasion of the 825th anniversary of the Mansfeld mining industry, the State Association of Miners', Metallurgical and Miners' Associations of Saxony-Anhalt and the town of Sangerhausen invite you to the International Mining Parade with Mining Festival and the 14th German Miners' Day from 9 to 11 May 2025.

The mountain festival will be opened on 9 May with numerous clubs from Germany and abroad.

On 10 May, a joint mining service will be held in the Jacobi Church. This will be followed by the grand International Mining Parade from the market square to the Friesenstadion sports park. The parade will run around 1.5 km through the city centre and will be accepted by Minister President Reiner Haseloff, the patron of the event, from the VIP grandstand.

There will be a trade fair in the Friesenstadion sports park from 2 pm. SWG will also have a stand there and will be providing information about living in the mountain and rose town of Sangerhausen and presenting its housing and construction projects.
